Ben Elton

Ben Elton is a renowned English comedian, novelist, playwright, screenwriter, and director. Born on May 3, 1959, in London, England, he rose to prominence in the 1980s as part of the alternative comedy movement. Elton is best known for his work on the iconic TV series The Young Ones and Blackadder, which he co-wrote with Richard Curtis.
Elton has received numerous awards for his work, including three BAFTA awards and two Olivier awards. He is married to Australian musician Sophie Gare and lives in Fremantle, Western Australia.
