C. S. Lewis

C. S. Lewis was a renowned Irish-born scholar, novelist, and Anglican lay theologian.
Born on November 29, 1898, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Lewis is best known for his fantasy series, “The Chronicles of Narnia,” and influential works of Christian apologetics like “Mere Christianity” and “The Screwtape Letters.”
He was a fellow at Oxford University and later held the Chair of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University. Lewis’s writing spans multiple genres, including fantasy, science fiction and children’s literature, leaving a lasting impact on readers worldwide.
He passed away on November 22, 1963.
