Christopher Paolini is an American and Italian author, best known for The Inheritance Cycle, which includes Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance. Born on November 17, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, Paolini grew up in Paradise Valley, Montana, where he was homeschooled.
