Robert A. Heinlein

Robert A. Heinlein (1907-1988) was a hugely influential American science fiction author. Often called the “dean of science fiction writers,” he shaped the genre with his focus on scientific accuracy and strong characters. A trained naval engineer, his writing explored social and political themes, pushing boundaries and winning numerous awards.
Notable works include Stranger in a Strange Land, Starship Troopers, and The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress. He remains one of the best-selling science fiction authors of all time.
